I'm only suggesting he really evaluate if this is need or want. PhoenixVerb, Nimbus also includes a CPU saving adjustable processing threshold (-48dB to -120dB). And that is part of my point, he might have reverb well covered with that single plug in. I really wasn't trying to make a comment on the usefulness of either item or compare them fucntionally, but if you must nit pick my word choice. That is a large-ish chunk of the Pyramid's cost. I'm just encouraging the OP to keep saving for the sequencer he is saving for instead of potentially spending 150 dollars of his savings on something he might not need.

it's more for augmenting sounds like a flanger, or a phaser. These claim to range from wide, smooth spaces to lush shiny reverbs, covering much ground in between. I searched the web and most people say Room is the best day to day reverb, whereas Vintage is good for special effects in particular situations, i.e. Valhalla actually allowed me to keep more money for real good stuff (OTB)OK. It offers four algorithms: Large Room, Medium Room, Bright Room and Large Chamber. I think it is unfair to use the words " keeping pissing it at a little" in this context. Low price, reverb quality I have been dreaming of (as a young guy during the nineties) and major updates for free.

I think buying VVV was one of the best investments so far. So the pyramid sequencer is bigger/ better than valhalla verb? Just because of the price tag? Apples and oranges.Īlso Valhalla is just inexpensive, not low quality.
